I was born in Louisville, KY, on September 22, and attended the University of Louisville from August 2012 - December 2016. I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Music with a minor in Communication. During my time in college, I followed UofL sports passionately and began to cover them for several media outlets.
My sports media journey began with Big Red Louie of FanSided, owned by Sports Illustrated. After leaving Big Red Louie I joined River City Cards, a then- up and coming Louisville sports website. I continued writing for RCC when I also joined the The Louisville Cardinal, UofL’s student newspaper. It was with The Cardinal where I first tried my hand at photography; shooting football, volleyball, swimming, baseball, and softball. During the summer of 2016, I took over the role of editor-in-chief of River City Cards.
As I became more known in sports media, Cardinal Couple, a website covering mainly women’s sports noticed my work; and I appeared on their radio show every so often. In mid-2017, I began working for Cardinal Couple full-time as their official photographer. I continued to work for River City Cards, but took a step back- bringing in another co-editor, Mike Gilpatrick. We continued to grow the site as River City Cards covered all sports at UofL. We picked up the Louisville Bats in the 2018 calendar year, where I oversaw the photographers as Senior Photographer.
I had the chance to cover a game of the Team USA Women's National Basketball team in spring 2020, my only experience with Olympic sports, so far.
Also in late 2017, I tried photography beyond sports. Through the help of some friends and volunteers I was able to get my first photo shoots completed. I continue to do personal photoshoots, while sports photography remains my passion.
